Other Hearing Support & Rebates

If the Hearing Services Program does not apply to you, there are other schemes that may help with the cost of hearing care. We are happy to talk you through them.

Medicare Rebates

With a GP referral under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, or a referral from an ENT specialist or neurologist, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate for your hearing assessment.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

For eligible Australians under 65 with permanent hearing loss that affects everyday life. We can help with the quotes and reports your plan needs.

My Aged Care (Home Care Packages)

If you receive government-funded aged care support at home, your available funds may help cover home visits, hearing aid accessories and maintenance.

Private Health Insurance (HICAPS)

Depending on your extras cover, health funds such as Bupa, Medibank, HCF and NIB may offer a rebate on hearing aids, usually every few years. We can process your claim on the spot with HICAPS.

WorkCover (Noise Induced Loss)

If your hearing has been affected by noise at work, WorkSafe may cover your hearing tests, hearing aids and ongoing costs.

Paying Privately
